Meet Robert Kevlin, M.S., CCC-SLP, Founder.

Rob Kevlin has been practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2010. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and his Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University. Following graduate school, Rob completed his Clinical Fellowship at Speech & Hearing Associates, where he was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for his clinical expertise and compassionate care.

Since 2020, Rob has served as the Founder and Director of NeuroRehab & Speech Healers, LLC. He is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). He has also appeared on television programs discussing speech-language pathology topics and helping educate the public about communication and swallowing disorders.

Throughout his career, Rob has worked in a wide range of clinical settings, including private practice, outpatient rehabilitation, home health, assisted living, long-term care, sub-acute rehabilitation, and school systems. He has also served as a Rehabilitation Director, overseeing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy departments while mentoring Clinical Fellows, graduate students, and licensed speech-language pathologists.

Rob previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Monmouth University, where he taught Voice Disorders. In addition to his speech-language pathology credentials, he is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), providing additional expertise in working with older adults, individuals with cognitive decline, and families navigating the challenges associated with aging and neurodegenerative disorders.

Rob evaluates and treats both children and adults with a variety of communication, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders, including articulation disorders, language delays, stuttering, aphasia, cognitive-communication disorders, dysarthria, apraxia, voice disorders, and dysphagia. He has extensive experience working with individuals affected by stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, traumatic brain injury, voice disorders, and swallowing disorders. He is also certified in VitalStim® therapy and LSVT LOUD®, an evidence-based treatment program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.

Rob has been providing telehealth speech-language pathology services for many years and has successfully treated clients throughout Florida using secure, evidence-based virtual therapy platforms. Patients and families often appreciate his ability to explain complex diagnoses and treatment recommendations in a clear, practical manner. His therapeutic approach is individualized, systematic, organized, and compassionate, with a focus on helping clients achieve meaningful improvements in communication, cognition, voice, and swallowing function.

Rob resides in Sarasota, Florida, with his wife and two children. Outside of his clinical work, he is an accomplished concert singer who has performed in solo concerts at New York City’s renowned 54 Below and has appeared alongside Tony and Grammy Award winner Jennifer Holliday. He also enjoys playing tennis and spending time outdoors with his family.
